Centre Shortlists Sites for Manmohan Singh’s Memorial: The Central government has shortlisted two sites near Delhi’s Rajghat for setting up a memorial dedicated to former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

Arvind Kejriwal launches Pujari Granthi Samman Yojana: AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal, along with his wife Sunita Kejriwal, on Tuesday launched the Pujari Granthi Samman Yojana by registering the priests of Marghat Wale Baba temple near Kashmiri Gate ISBT for the benefits. Under the scheme, the Hindu temple priests and granthis of Gurudwaras will be paid a monthly honorarium of Rs 18,000 if the AAP returns to power.

Renowned Botanist K.S. Manilal Passes Away at 86: K.S. Manilal, a celebrated botanist and Padma Shri awardee, passed away at 86 in Thrissur. Known for translating the 17th-century botanical work Hortus Malabaricus into English and Malayalam, he significantly contributed to preserving India’s botanical heritage.
