Lieutenant Governor (L-G) V.K. Saxena has approved the appointment of IAS officer Azimul Haque as the CEO of the Delhi Waqf Board. However, he criticized the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government for its alleged negligence and failure to follow legal procedures in handling the situation.

India has achieved a major milestone by expanding its metro rail network to over 1,000 km, making it the world’s third-largest after China and the US. Starting with the Kolkata Metro in 1984, the network now spans 23 cities in 11 states.
